Try your hand at organic farming! Ponpoko Village - Ponpoko Mura as it's known locally - brings you out into rural farmlands of Kisarazu to harvest seasonal vegetables with clippers, shovels, or just your own hands. Lettuce and kale in spring or potatoes and root veggies in fall, you can purchase whatever you harvest, so not only is this a way to work your farmer's hands, but also a way to buy directly from the source. All the vegetables here are organic, grown without the use of pesticides. Reservations for individuals and groups are required.
