In response to the spread of COVID-19, Chiba Prefecture is taking steps to ensure the safety of visitors. Various tourist spots are also working on measures such as social distancing, the wearing of masks, disinfection, and thorough temperature checks. As the table shows, most facilities are working to improve their levels of safety and security by taking measures such as improved ventilation, staff wearing masks, and disinfection. In addition, facilities are requiring that visitors take their own temperature and practice social distancing. Public transportation systems are also taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Major railroads are recommending that people avoid rush hour and crowded train cars. Major airlines are also taking measures such as encouraging people to keep the amount of luggage they carry to a minimum. Airports are also taking various prophylactic measures, such as limiting the number of available seats.
